The Super Bowl buzz here in my hometown of New Orleans sparked my inspiration for a new piece celebrating our city’s incredible resilience using the Chiefs and the Eagles team colors that intertwined thru out the Fleur De Lis. Behind the symbol displays New Orleans skyline buildings.

The Fleur De Lis has always held a special place in my heart. After Hurricane Katrina, it became a powerful symbol of hope and unity for our community. I’m honored to be known as the ‘Fleur de Lis Lady’ and to have touched so many lives through my art.

This is a mixed media original finger painting by Christy, featuring acrylic and chalk paints, metallic leaf, costume gems, glitter and heavy resin.
