No idea is too silly, too strange, too large or too small to talk about. Generally, the procedure for commissioning a piece of artwork are as follows:
We discuss the subject matter and scope of the project. If all parties decide to proceed with the project, then a $250 non-refundable deposit is required for me to start working on the concept image.
I create a concept image based off our conversation and revise it to your liking. Once the concept image is approved by you, then a 50% deposit (minus the $250 deposit) is required for me to start painting.
The remaining balance is due upon completion and delivery of the finished artwork.
All commissions are different. Some paintings are more complex than others so pricing may vary. To give you a general idea, my commission prices per size are approximately:
24” x 24” - $2000 36” x 36” - $4000 48” x 48” - $6000
