Once the canvas is stretched, Christy then hand-embellishes the canvas with fast drying acrylic paint to make every giclee unique and one-of-a-kind. Finally, she applies a UV-resistant texturizing gel with her pallette knife, simulating her thick and layered strokes. The finished effect is quite amazing, as many people will think it is an original oil painting. Every giclee comes stretched on bars with the pictured 4-inch grey moulding, which both decorates and protects the canvas during shipping.
